Film director, scriptwriter

After studying at the Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux, Sébastien Betbeder joins Le Fresnoy, Studio National des Arts Contemporains, in Tourcoing. He then directs a number of short films, followed by a feature-length film in the fantasy genre, Nuage (Cloud), shown at the Locarno Film Festival and released in cinemas in 2007.
In 2014, he directs Inupiluk and Le Film que nous tournerons au Groenland (The Film We Will Shoot in Greenland) which would become part of a Greenland trilogy. Released in cinemas in April of the same year, the fourth feature film by Sébastien Betbeder Marie et les naufragés (Marie and the Misfits) stars Pierre Rochefort, Eric Cantona, Vimala Pons, Damien Chapelle, André Wilms and Emmanuelle Riva in what is resolutely a literary comedy.

BENOÎT DELÉPINE

Director, screenwriter, actor and producer
France, Groland

Benoit Delépine who holds dual French / Grolandais citizenship, began his career as a screenwriter for the television channel Canal+ at the end of the 20th century.
As a founder of Guignols de l'Info and Groland, he spent most of his professional life writing sketches for these two shows, scripts for films based on the shows, a few comic books and short films, until he met a perfect match in Gustave Kervern, with whom he has written and directed seven feature films. Their films are often considered outlandish whereas they simply push realism to the limits of the unbearable.
